Winter in Jackson Hole came late this year. We often have snow that sticks around by mid November. This year, we did not havea significant snowfall in the valley until the week before Christmas. This did not preclude people from skiing in the western mountains, but those of us who spent our time in the valley got very tired of the browns and tans that made up our landscape. And snow just changes everything!
